The Kunkle 921 is a full-nozzle carbon steel safety relief valve built specifically for forced-flow steam generators, carrying the ASME Section I ‘V’ stamp. Supplied with a plain lift lever, required for ASME steam service above 140°F. This 2″ x 2″ NPT variant — G orifice, 0.553 in² — covers a 15–600 PSI set pressure range on steam service with a metal seat. Body is carbon steel (SA216 Gr. WCB) with 316 stainless trim and a hard chrome plated disc holder; temperature range -20°F to 800°F. Overall height shown is for the plain lift lever configuration; add 1-1/4 in for set pressures above 200 PSI. Specify your required set pressure when requesting a quote.
