The Kunkle 929 is a full-nozzle carbon steel safety relief valve built specifically for liquid-phase thermal fluid (hot oil) systems, carrying the ASME Section I ‘V’ stamp. Supplied with a threaded cap as a Section I PTFH valve. This 1″ x 1-1/2″ NPT variant — F orifice, 0.337 in² — covers a 15–600 PSI set pressure range on thermal fluid service with a metal seat. Body is carbon steel (SA216 Gr. WCB) with 316 stainless trim and a hard chrome plated disc holder; temperature range -20°F to 800°F. Overall height shown is for the threaded cap configuration; add 1-1/4 in for set pressures above 200 PSI. Specify your required set pressure when requesting a quote.
