The Kunkle 6252 is a heavy-duty cast iron safety valve with a stainless steel semi-nozzle, trim and disc, built for steam boilers and generators, pressure reducing stations, air and gas compressors, and pressure vessels including tanks, receivers, intercoolers and separators. Dual control rings allow precise adjustment of simmer and blowdown; the bolted bonnet makes field maintenance straightforward. This 2″ FNPT x 3″ FNPT variant — K orifice, 2.022 in² — covers a 15–250 PSI set pressure range for Air ASME Section VIII service with a metal seat, carrying ASME Sections VIII and XIII (UV stamp), National Board Certified. Temperature range -20°F to 406°F. Per ASME, code valves with a cast iron A126 body may not be used in lethal or flammable service. Specify your required set pressure when requesting a quote.
