Kunkle 140 Liquid Relief Valve — 3/8″ x 1/2″ NPT, 5-300 PSIG (Non-Code Liquid, Stainless Steel)

The Kunkle 140 is a compact liquid relief valve of all stainless steel construction, including the spring, with a side outlet for general utility service on pumps, tanks and lines. The bonnet and disc are A743-CF8, the nozzle SA479-316 and the spring A313-302, with PTFE O-ring and gasket seals and an angle lapped seat for tight shutoff. This 3/8″ NPT inlet × 1/2″ NPT outlet variant is set between 5 and 300 psig (0.34 to 20.7 barg) over a temperature range of -60°F to 406°F (-51°C to 208°C), and relieves 0.5 GPM at 5 psig rising to 14.6 GPM at 270 to 290 psig. This is a non-code valve: it carries no ASME stamp and no National Board certification. Maximum back pressure is 50 psig (3.45 barg) — back pressure raises the set pressure on a one to one basis and reduces capacity, and back pressure above 10% of set pressure is not recommended. A female NPT inlet option (FNPT × FNPT) is available. Specify your inlet thread and required set pressure when requesting a quote.
