Kunkle 30 Safety Valve — 1/4″ NPT, 60-4000 PSIG (Air/Gas ASME Section VIII, Brass)

The Kunkle 30 is a compact top-venting brass safety valve for air and gas service on small to medium multi-stage air compressors, intercoolers and aftercoolers, instrument and control air lines and systems, air tanks and receivers, and pressurised equipment. The body, disc holder and compression screw are brass, the spring and lift ring are stainless steel, and the seat is a Torlon® ball; the top guided disc gives consistent lift and reseating. The single 0.094 in. (2.4 mm) orifice is set between 60 and 4000 psig (4 to 276 barg) over a temperature range of -20°F to 300°F (-29°C to 150°C), relieving 15 SCFM of air at 60 psig and rising to 821 SCFM at 4000 psig at 10% accumulation. The valve carries the ASME Section VIII ‘UV’ stamp and is National Board certified. Connections are 1/4 in. threaded NPT or BSPT.
