SKU: KUN-330-K
The Kunkle 330 is a lightweight aluminum relief valve for air and gas service on multi-stage high pressure compressors, intercoolers and aftercoolers, high pressure receivers and storage bottles, thermal expansion relief, and breathing air and SCUBA recharge compressors. Its differential mechanism maintains a predetermined seat contact load so the full spring load is never imparted to the seat, and seat tightness increases as inlet pressure approaches the set pressure. The body is aluminum SB211 alloy 2024 T351 with stainless steel trim and a urethane soft seat, discharging through the sidewall. Set between 1000 and 5500 psig (69 to 379.3 barg) over a temperature range of -20°F to 185°F (-29°C to 85°C), it relieves 29 SCFM of air at 1000 psig rising to 158 SCFM at 5500 psig at 10% accumulation. The valve carries the ASME Section VIII and XIII ‘UV’ designator, is National Board certified, and is PED certified for non-hazardous gas. Inlet is 1/4 in. or 1/2 in. male NPT, or 7/16 in. SAE. Specify your inlet connection and required set pressure when requesting a quote.
