Kunkle 330S Relief Valve — 1000-7500 PSIG (Air/Gas ASME Section VIII, Stainless Steel)

The Kunkle 330S is the Model 330 with a stainless steel SA479-304 body, for air and gas service on multi-stage high pressure compressors, intercoolers and aftercoolers, high pressure receivers and storage bottles, thermal expansion relief, and breathing air and SCUBA recharge compressors. The differential mechanism maintains a predetermined seat contact load so the full spring load is never imparted to the urethane soft seat, and seat tightness increases as inlet pressure approaches the set pressure. Discharge is through the sidewall. The stainless body carries a higher ceiling than the aluminum 330: set between 1000 and 7500 psig (69 to 517.1 barg) over a temperature range of -20°F to 185°F (-29°C to 85°C), relieving 29 SCFM of air at 1000 psig rising to 215 SCFM at 7500 psig at 10% accumulation. The valve carries the ASME Section VIII and XIII ‘UV’ designator and is National Board certified; PED certification for non-hazardous gas applies to a maximum of 7000 psig. Inlet is 1/4 in. or 1/2 in. male NPT, or 7/16 in. SAE. Specify your inlet connection and required set pressure when requesting a quote.
