Kunkle 333S Relief Valve — 1000-7500 PSIG (Air/Gas ASME Section VIII, Stainless Steel, Side Outlet)

The Kunkle 333S is the Model 330S fitted with a female NPT side outlet and a pressure-tight cap, for air and gas service on multi-stage high pressure compressors, intercoolers and aftercoolers, high pressure receivers and storage bottles, thermal expansion relief, and breathing air and SCUBA recharge compressors. The body is stainless steel SA479-304 with an aluminum SB26 alloy 356-T6 bonnet, stainless trim and a urethane soft seat, and the differential mechanism keeps the full spring load off the seat. The piped side outlet is 1/2 in. or 3/4 in. FNPT. Set between 1000 and 7500 psig (69 to 517.1 barg) over a temperature range of -20°F to 185°F (-29°C to 85°C), it relieves 29 SCFM of air at 1000 psig rising to 215 SCFM at 7500 psig at 10% accumulation. The valve carries the ASME Section VIII and XIII ‘UV’ designator and is National Board certified; PED certification for non-hazardous gas applies to a maximum of 7000 psig. Maximum back pressure is 100 psig (6.9 barg) — back pressure REDUCES the set pressure on a one to one basis and reduces capacity, and back pressure above 10% of set pressure is not recommended. The valve measures 2-7/8 x 1-7/8 x 7-11/16 in. and weighs 1 lb. Inlet is 1/4 in., 7/16 in. or 1/2 in. Specify your inlet and outlet connections and required set pressure when requesting a quote.
